Making of Beyond COVID

In March, as we took drastic measures to help keep ourselves and those around us safe from COVID19, we had to make some uncomfortable sacrifices. The silver lining has been that we have been reminded of what is truly important in our lives. When we look closely enough each day we can discover a small act or moment that we are grateful for. Something that was always there, but without the busyness of life we could realize just how valuable it is. 

We wanted to create a video that would spread that message but we need help to get it done.

Practicing self-isolation meant we needed to take a different approach to produce a video. We also wanted to emphasize that we are all in this together by making the video a community project. To achieve this we sent out an invite for anyone to help us film the video. We blasted the invite across social media outlets and got a fantastic response from people all over the world.

We were looking for videographers of all skill levels, from seasoned professionals to anyone with a smartphone that wants to help shift perspectives on this virus from fear to gratitude. To help them decide on what to film we asked them one question:
