When the Explorers’ Edge tourism region was planning on building their interactive booth at Rendez-vous Canada they turned to Birchbark Media to figure out how to bring the Great Canadian Wilderness to downtown Toronto. We captured winter and summer activities in virtual reality which enabled media and travel trade professionals from around the world to go canoeing, camping, ice skating and dogsledding at the event. The response was overwhelming. Many international delegates had never had the chance to have these experiences and the virtual reality was a highlight of the event.
